Start pencilling the dates in your 2023 calendar poker fans — the 2023 World Series of Poker will run from May 30-July 18, 2023.
The Series is back in Las Vegas Strip, at Paris Las Vegas and soon to be Horseshoe, following the great success of the event.
The WSOP also revealed important events such as the Seniors Championship and Millionaire Maker, along with a complete schedule that will be published “in 2023”.
The $300 Gladiators of Poker was also announced. It is the smallest live-in WSOP bracelet and comes with a huge $3,000,000 guarantee.

Behind the scenes work has begun for the 54th Annual WSOP festival. Ty Stewart, Senior Vice President of World Series of Poker and Executive Director (pictured), hopes to continue the Series’ “historic debut” on the Las Vegas Strip.

We are glad to be back in Paris Las Vegas, and at the Horseshoe Las Vegas in the future for another thrilling chapter of the tournament’s story. These two resorts set the standard in last year’s hosting.
Jason Gregorec was SVP and General manager of Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris. He echoed Stewart’s words, saying he was eager to see more memorable WSOP moments.
“The tournament provided unforgettable moments on The Strip,” stated Gregorec. We are thrilled to host poker’s most prestigious event of the year. The first WSOP Main Event Champion will be crowned at Horseshoe Las Vegas.
Where is the Main Event of 2023 WSOP?
The main event at the 2023 WSOP 2023 WSOP will be the headliner in the 2023 WSOP program. It will take place on July 3, 2019.
Did you know? With 8,663 participants, the 2022 Main Event generated almost $81 Million in prize money.
The $10,000 buy-in will remain. Players have four options for starting the tournament. Late registration is still available on Friday, July 7,2023, and Saturday, July 82023.

Mystery Millions Launches the 2023 WSOP
The Housewarming kicked off the 2022 WSOP, while next year’s Series is also set to feature a major opening event.
Mystery Millions, a $1,000 buy-in Mystery Millions tournament sees the beloved Million Dollar Bounty Tournament move up to the opening weekend. Bounties range from $10,000 to $1,000,000. For the winner of the overall title, there is $1,000,000 GTD.

For 2023, Two Events are Confirmed
Like every year, the 1,000 Ladies Championship (June 9) & $1,000 Seniors Championships (June 21) are returning to the 2023 WSOP calendar. The Monster Stack (Millionaire Maker), Colossus (Colossus), Lucky 7s (Mini Main Event) also return to the schedule. The Closer is the festival’s final event, but two exciting new events are added.
- Gladiators of Poker (June 7): This $300 buy-in tournament comes with a $3,000,000 guarantee — the only event currently announced with an overall tournament guarantee
- Ultra Stack (July 11, 2012): Although no stack details are currently available, this event with a $600 buy in will offer huge stacks.
